With investment in technology and infrastructure having been limited for over ten years, our client, a large, global financial services company, asked us to help them innovate and optimise their data. The client required us to create and implement a strategy and ongoing support that would guide their data activity and optimisation through multiple years. This involved establishing brand new departments across both the UK & the US and empowering their staff more widely, to make sure the organisation was equipped with the skills, knowledge and behaviours required in order to motivate their people and maximise the data strategy we implemented.
With investment in technology and infrastructure having been limited for over ten years, our client asked us to help them innovate and optimise their data by developing:
- A multi-year Data Strategy and Governance roadmap
- Mobilisation of a new Data Strategy & Services department in the US & UK
- Empowering staff through a data oriented culture
In order to build and deliver a solution that fit their requirements, we took a three stage approach:
Mobilising a Data Governance, Data Quality & Master Data Management capability
Defining the Data Governance Framework and Target Operating Model & Policies.
Delivering Master Data Management and Data Quality Management
We delivered tangible results that aligned with the overarching business objectives and gained strong business engagement and executive sponsorship.
A new operating model was implemented by a newly formed team and strong bases were established across Governance, Quality and Master Data Management, providing a foundation for multi-year data-led change.
